About Us
Marihuana Caregivers was started by Mark Adams, the owner of bitServe, a Michigan web hosting, web development, and information technology consulting company.
When Adams voted for the legalization of medical marihuana in November of 2008, he was surprised to see the legislation changes come to pass. The state didn't provide for a pharmaeutical means to acquire marihuana, since it is a "Schedule 1" drug and can't be prescribed. Rather, the state left patients to fend for themselves or to find a vaguely termed "primary caregiver" to grow or acquire the plant for them.
Adams had recently developed a social networking platform for Tech Expo World, and it was easy to transfer the recent development to the new purpose.
There are other poorly developed sites popping up to offer the same thing, but Marihuana Caregivers will give you the best experience, and for free.
Marihuana Caregivers is dedicated to investing 25% of its advertising based revenue on advertising the site for its advertisers' benefit.
